Frequently asked questions

How does the pregnancy tracker calculate my week and due date?

Enter the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). Gestational age is counted from that date, and your estimated due date is calculated as 280 days (40 weeks) later — the standard method used by doctors worldwide.

Is the pregnancy tracker free to use?

Yes. The week-by-week tracker is completely free and needs no sign-up. Create a free First OPD account if you would like to save your progress across devices and book OPD visits with gynaecologists.

What will I see for each week of pregnancy?

For every week from 4 to 40 you get a fetal development video, your baby’s approximate size and weight, a fruit-size comparison, the key milestone for that week, common symptoms, and nutrition tips on what to eat and what to avoid.

Is this a substitute for seeing a doctor?

No. The information is educational and based on average pregnancy milestones. Always consult your doctor or midwife for advice personalised to your pregnancy. You can book a gynaecologist through First OPD directly.
