The brain is growing exponentially, developing billions of new neural connections. Your baby's eyesight is improving and they can focus on objects close to their face. The lanugo is beginning to disappear.

  • Dates (studies suggest easier labour)

Foods to avoid

  • Alcohol
  • Gas-producing foods (beans, cabbage) if uncomfortable
  • Very spicy food if causing heartburn
  • Raw/undercooked meat
  • High-sodium processed food
  • Large meals that worsen reflux
